Antique French Cotton Curtain Panels turn Summer Light jacket

Made from a panel of antique (Est around 1940s) French Cotton Curtains, this textile is soft and with very vibrant colours of ancient floral print. With additional black accents by the sleeves, cuff and edges, made from linen fabric. 

It has two side pockets, hand stitched button holes and vintage buttons.

This blouse will make the best gift for an environment enthusiast.

Washing : Machine wash 30C.

Please be aware that this is a hand-made item repurpose from a vintage / used table cloth. Therefore there are flaws, light stinks and tiny rips which is the evidence of the history one's ever lived.

The back story :

It all started with me being given a piece of unfinished hand-stitched table cloth by my mom-in-law. The sheet belongs to my mom-in-law's mom-in-law (Sorry it is what it is). She was too old and wasn't capable of finishing it. Well, my mom-in-law thought that It would be a great idea that I finish it for her but turns out I can't hand stitch anything XD. So instead of complete it with my awful hand-stitch skill. I tailored it into a classic blouse. And that is how it all started!

This is a vintage item which means it has been worn and loved previously. Now it made it to my store and I have revived it so it fits in the modern world again. Wearing vintage is not just a fashion statement, but also an attitude for a better future with less waste by humans.
